Hilarious but utterly serious Google stunt! Gmail is the best email solution by far. You can access your email from anywhere and also use all of the other Google online services. If you are not using Gmail yet you should!

When people build websites they often forget the obvious, one of the most important elements is to make sure that people know how to contact you. Too often I see websites that make it difficult for visitors to find basic information. Surely your business email is not top secret!

Your website should have a clear layout. In one overview a visitor must be able to see how to contact you. Don’t make it a labyrinth of clicks to get to your contact page either. Make sure that when they land on your website that there is a clear link to your contact info on every page, or if you have a sidebar put your contact info right there.

I cannot stress how frustrating it is not to be able to find a simple email address! I see too many websites with fancy contact forms but the actual email address is a mystery. Why would you not want people to contact you?

If you are having problems with e-mail spam then you should take a look at the way you have set up your website. Remove the link to your email address so that you reduce the chances of unwanted e-emails. You can also just spell out the email for example: info (at) orangebuzz.nl.

E-mail has become one of the most basic forms of communication, so there really is no excuses for not publishing your business e-mail. In most cases people will prefer to send you an email before actually picking up the phone to call you. Make sure that potential clients can email you, don’t make it too difficult otherwise they could go somewhere else.
